Roof coatings are created through a highly reflective, energy saving substance that is sprayed or rolled on to an existing roof to “coat” the roof to a leak-free status.  Coatings work well for repairs if you do not have money in the budget for a roof replacement. Roof coatings are applied to all types of roof systems.

A roof coating is typically less expensive than a roof replacement, and a variety of watertight warranties are available depending on your budget and depending on your existing roof system.  These warranties are renewable and cover the coating itself and typically not the existing roof substrate.  The attachment of the existing roof system also might affect the type of warranty provided by the manufacturer.
